One credit allows you to process one hectare (ha) of LiDAR data. One hectare equals approximately 2.5 acres. Credits are consumed when you run processing jobs on your point cloud data.
While your subscription is active, unused credits roll over indefinitely — month to month and year to year. If you cancel, your credits remain valid until 90 days after the effective end date of your subscription (not when you click cancel, but when your current billing period ends).
Yearly billing saves you 33% compared to monthly billing. You pay once per year and receive all your credits upfront. For example, Premium yearly gives you 1,200 credits for $708/year instead of $1,068/year with monthly billing—that’s a savings of $360!
Yes! Here’s how plan changes work:
Upgrading from Freemium to Premium or Advanced: You can upgrade yourself anytime directly from the pricing page. Your new subscription starts immediately.
Switching between Premium and Advanced: To change between paid tiers, contact our support team at contact@lidarvisor.com. We’ll help you make the switch at your next billing cycle.
Downgrading to Freemium: Simply cancel your subscription. Your account will automatically revert to Freemium at the end of your current billing period. You’ll keep access to all features until then, and any remaining credits stay valid for 90 days after.
Your account reverts to Freemium. You keep access to your projects but can’t process new data beyond the free tier. Purchased credits remain valid for 90 days after cancellation.
Credit packs require an active Premium or Advanced subscription to use.
Lidarvisor accepts LAS and LAZ point cloud formats. File size limits depend on your plan: Freemium supports up to 2 GB LAS / 400 MB LAZ, Premium up to 25 GB LAS / 5 GB LAZ, and Advanced up to 50 GB LAS / 10 GB LAZ.
The Freemium plan serves as your free trial. You get 10 hectares of processing to test all features with no time limit. When you’re ready for more capacity, simply upgrade to Premium or Advanced.
